Cody Vaughan, 27, assaults an infant, and is sentenced to very little time

Cody  Vaughan, 27, was sentenced to nine to 18 months in Butler County Prison after pleading guilty to misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child. He was charged with assaulting his ex-girlfriend’s 20-month-old child. Yes a 20 month old child.

Medical reports described the injuries that included a black eye, split lip, other head and facial bruises and red circular marks on the child’s stomach, forearm and right buttock. Meaning the child was beat multiple times in what can be thought of nothing less then a violent manor.

Police said Vaughan burned the girl, possibly with a cigarette, hit, slapped and bit her, and allowed her to fall headlong from a bed onto the floor.

Saxonburg Police said the infant was left hospitalized with those numerous injuries.

Saxonburg Police were said to be disgusted by this persons actions, and the residents want to kill this guy, so if he comes back to Saxonburg I am sure someone will welcome him in an appropriate manor.

Saxonburg Police had no comment after the plea was reached.
