State police camp for special-needs children, adults open to Pennsylvania residents

The Pennsylvania State Police will host a free day-long camp for children and adults with special needs or disabilities in Hershey.
The first Sunny Day Camp will be held at the Pennsylvania State Police Academy and is open to all state residents. Troopers will participate with families in demonstrations and activities.
There will be games and a disc jockey, as well as a state police canine unit, tours of a state police helicopter and police vehicle, and representatives from the bomb squad and special emergency response team.
A free lunch and snacks will be included.
Sunny Day Camp will be held from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Sept. 9 at the academy, 175 E. Hershey Park Drive.
