Joel Mckissick Jr was the first person in Butler Charged under the new “revenge Porn” law in Pa.

Prosecutors have withdrawn the case against Joel L. McKissick Jr., 28, of Oakland Township, who was charged last month with unlawful dissemination of an intimate image.

Lisa Wilbert of Butler told District Attorney Bosco that she did not want him charged, and that she “does not want to go through with this case”

In an exclusive Butler News spoke with a few parties in this case, as it turns out, There NEVER was a “nude picture” sent to anyone, Wilbert flat out lied to the Police. And a overzealous department went and charged Mckissick really for no reason.

Wilbert of Butler has known mental health issues, and when it came to actually going to court she said she “aint doing that”

Police said the woman on June 3 accused McKissick of sending nude photographs of her to another person, without her permission. This was found to not be true. His attorney Micheal Zunder would not comment on the case. McKissick was to have his preliminary hearing for the lone charge, a second-degree misdemeanor-that charge  was withdrawn

This is a sad waste of taxpayers money, Lisa Wilbert should be charged with if anything else making false reports to Police. Not to mention the costs of hiring an attorney to fight the allegations that could have destroyed this young mans life.

McKissick was cleared of all charges.
