Equifax reports a data breach of 143 million users

Equifax said data on 143 million U.S. customers was obtained in a breach.
The breach was discovered July 29.
Personal data including birth dates, credit card numbers and more were obtained in the breach.

Eqiifax says if your information was breached you will receive an email telling you that your information was compromised with further instructions.

  1. EQUIFAX should be held criminally responsible along with the hackers. CREDIT has to be reported to these bozo’s and they can’t keep our information out of the hands of criminals. AS far as I am concerned, anyone that has our personnel information is just as responsible for the breach as the criminals and should be treated the same.
