A Butler County man was arrested for attempting to lure two teenage girls into his vehicle.
Two 14-year-old girls were walking down Main Street, near Pittsburgh Street, when a man in a dark-colored SUV waved at them, turned around and seemed to follow them,”
According to police, the man- later identified as 56-year-old Scott Miller of Saxonburg- then followed the two teens into a library parking lot. It’s there he began asking them their names and where they lived. The girls gave fake names and addresses.
“He then asked if the girls ‘wanted to have fun.
The girls fled on foot and called their parents. They are unharmed.
Police caught up with Miller on Tuesday and arrested him. He’s facing two felony charges of child luring.
He was taken to the Butler County Prison but released Wednesday morning on bond.
