Police arrested Joshua Gurto, 37, after a manhunt that stretched from Ashtabula County, Ohio to Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
Gurto was wanted for the rape and murder of 13-month-old Sereniti Sutley in Conneaut, Ohio on Oct. 7.
Police in Franklin Park, Allegheny County, arrested Gurto around 1:40 a.m. Friday.
“I’m going to have this male at gunpoint here!” an officer was heard saying in a police radio dispatch a moment later.
Police said when he was asked, the man told them his name was Joshua Gurto.
Gurto was taken into custody and is now being held at the Allegheny County Jail.
