Two accused of killing woman, then setting her body on fire 

Police say around 5:08 p.m. on Friday, October 27, the Polk Borough Fire Department was dispatched to a brush fire on Waterworks Road.
Upon extinguishing the fire, a body was found.

The victim was identified as 25-year-old Tausha Lee Baker, of Franklin.

It is believed that the incident started around 2:22 a.m. on Friday in the City of Franklin at a residence in the 1300 block of New Street where Baker was beaten.

Baker’s body was disposed of on Waterworks Road and set on fire in an attempt to hide the crime.

According to police, 28-year-old Richard Kennedy, of Vandergrift, and 32-year-old Amanda Cypher, of Butler,have been arrested and charged with Criminal Homicide, Aggravated Assault, Abuse of a Corpse, and Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence.
According to the Police report both losers remain in Venango County Jail with no bond.
