Tina Louise Myers-Hetrick obituary

Tina Louise Myers-Hetrick, 40, of Butler passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017 following a struggle with addiction.

Born March 30, 1977 in Butler, she was a daughter of Kenneth Myers and the late Patricia Graham Myers.

She worked in sales at T.j.maxx.

She was a member of the General Butler Vagabonds as a soprano bugle player.

Surviving is her son, Skyler (Cassidy Leasure) Hetrick of Butler.

Her father, Kenneth Myers of Butler.

2 sisters: Diane Weiland and Elaine Bonus, of Butler.

2 brothers: Terry and Dennis Myers, of Butler.

Numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Myers and a nephew, Danny Weiland.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham St. Butler, PA 16001 from 10 AM to 12 Noon, Saturday. A Blessing Service will follow at 12 Noon from the Funeral Home.





  1. Very few people break out of addiction. I don’t buy into the disease concept but I do believe the brain is altered maybe permanently to make it almost impossible to stay clean. Sorry for the family.
