Tomika Cottrill, 36, of Butler was arrested for trying to hide a wanted man from police at a home on Third Street.
Troopers went to the home looking for Christopher Gratzinger, 30, of Butler Township, who was wanted on a bench warrant. But when troopers tried to speak to him, he ran into the house.
Police repeatedly knocked on the door and identified themselves, but no one answered from inside.
Troopers even used a public address system on their patrol car.
Police eventually forced their way inside.
Gratzinger was arrested. Cottrill was also at the home when all of this was going on.
The woman is now facing a charge of hindering apprehension or prosecution. Cottrill was placed in the Butler County Prison on $2,500 bail.
