The Armstrong Group of Companies has acquired a local plumbing and heating company.

Renfrew-based Ken McDonald Plumbing & Heating, a mechanical contractor offering heating, air-conditioning and plumbing services to residences and businesses primarily in Butler, Venango, Armstrong, Mercer, Lawrence, Beaver, Clarion and Allegheny counties, is now owned by Armstrong. The company announced Friday that the transaction has been completed.

The Armstrong Group of Companies is a family-owned company based in Butler with businesses that include telecommunications, security, commercial real estate, food retail and electronics manufacturing.

  1. Armstrong is still cheaper than Comcast or spectrum. Not much but still cheaper. People bitch when rates increase but that is just the nature of the business. Channels cost more to get from broadcasters and inflation happens each year. Blame your employer if you can’t afford anything not a company that is barely making a profit on TV.
