Melissa Silk, 40, of Butler was charged with drugged driving stemming from a traffic stop last month in Butler. Police said they stopped her about 1:50 p.m. Dec. 4 for not using her turn signal on East Cunningham Street.
Silk subsequently failed field sobriety tests and was arrested. A search of her sport utility vehicle turned up a small container with suspected cocaine in it, according to court documents.
Results of a blood test later showed Silk had the following drugs in her system: cocaine; bupropion, buprenorphine, and hydroxyzine.
In addition to driving under the influence of a controlled substance, Silk is charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
