A Butler man is accused of breaking into a city apartment on the 600 block of New Castle Street and assaulting the tenant.
Butler Police said the victim, and former co-defendant 32 year old Joshua Norris, told them he was home with a social worker about 10:20 a.m. when Dorsey got inside through a locked door.
The two men, who previously knew one another, got into an altercation on the staircase, the defendant grabbed Norris by the shirt and pulled him down the stairs.
Norris recounted that he tried to push Dorsey out the door but the suspect placed him in a headlock, and threatened his life.
