Two adults are dead after an overnight house fire in Butler.
One of the bodies has been removed, and a second body is expected to be taken from the scene shortly, according to fire officials.
Firefighters were called to 329 E. Brady Street around 2am.
When they arrived, the front of the building was fully involved.
One firefighter made entry at the back of the house, but almost fell through the floor.
At that point, the fire department switched focus to keeping the fire from spreading to adjacent houses.
The pair has not yet been identified but officials suspect those who died are the man and woman who lived there.
The man’s body was found in a hallway on the second floor. The woman’s body was in a second story bedroom. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
