Moraine State Park will host a winter fun event this weekend to benefit two local causes.

On Saturday, Feb. 10, area residents of all ages are invented to Pleasant Valley Beach on the South Shore to participate in the day’s events. The day will begin with the Frosty Feet 5K at 10 a.m. (registration at 9 a.m.), and will continue with a chili cook-off at 11 a.m. and a “Douse for a House” into Lake Arthur at noon.

Saturday’s festivities will benefit the Moraine Preservation Fund and the Lawrence County habitat for Humanity.
