Pennsylvania State Police have withdrawn homicide charges in baby death case in Shenango Township

Pennsylvania State Police are withdrawing homicide charges against Brittany Robinson in the death of her baby.

The Shenango Township woman originally told police she didn’t know she was pregnant. However, police discovered through the investigation and the execution of a search warrant at her family’s home that the 23-year-old knew she was pregnant before giving birth.

She was released from Lawrence County jail yesterday, according to the warden.

State police arrested Robinson after her father found the baby dead and wrapped in a black T-shirt in a crawlspace under the family’s front porch, according to the complaint.
