A medical marijuana growing facility co-owned by a couple of local businessmen continues to dispense product across the state while demand has resulted in a shortage at some dispensaries.
21,000 patients have signed up to be part of the program with about 4,000 in possession of cards and the majority of those having visited a dispensary in the last two weeks. Hartley anticipates that the product shortage will be resolved by the end of March.
The response to the new dispensary in Butler has been overwhelmingly positive with many patients coming from an older age demographic.
