Commissioners jack the prices up to rent a park trying to make money for the City

The Butler County Commissioners have voted to update the ordinance for the rental of the park to cover the costs of the county workers who must staff it when it’s rented out. The commissioners said they’re not trying to make money on park rentals, but rather recoup what the county must pay maintenance employees.

Renters will now pay $125 per day for electric and $60 per hour to have a staff member on site. Nonprofits will receive a discount.
