Wolf wants all counties to replace their electronic voting systems with machines that leave a paper trail

The Wolf Administration wants all counties in Pennsylvania to replace their electronic voting systems with machines that leave a verifiable paper trail by the end of next year.

A top state election official made that claim last week and then went on to say preferably, the new systems would be in place in time for the November 2019 elections.

The Wolf administration says the federal government will provide nearly $14 million to help the counties. It’s estimated to cost $125 million to put the new machines in place.
