Grace Ann O’Day,23, of Kennerdell, faces more charges in the Kayla Dunlap overdose death case

Grace Ann O’Day, of Kennerdell already facing criminal conspiracy charges related to the death of Kayla Dunlap is now facing additional drug charges after probation officers found drug paraphernalia in her residence.

April 20, PSP responded to assist Clarion County Adult Probation at a residence on Hickman Road in Scrubgrass Township after drug paraphernalia was found during a home visit to Grace O’Day’s home.

O’Day was taken into custody by Clarion County Adult Probation and transported to PSP Franklin with the drug paraphernalia, which included hypodermic needles, spoons with burnt residue, small plastic bottles, cut in half credit cards with residue, rubber bands, and a package of razor blades located in a lunch box container, the complaint states.

According to the complaint, O’Day allegedly admitted that the items belonged to her and stated she has a drug addiction and was using pills and fentanyl.

According to dockets she now faces these additional charges.

Unable to post $10,000.00 cash bail, she was lodged in the Venango County Jail.

O’Day also faces the following charges stemming from her involvement in the overdose death of Kayla Dunlap in September of 2017.

– Criminal Conspiracy Engaging – Abuse Of Corpse, Misdemeanor 2
– Criminal Conspiracy Engaging – Tamper With/Fabricate Physical Evidence, Misdemeanor 3
– Furnish Authorities With Information W/O Knowledge, Misdemeanor 3

O’Day was charged after telling police she was there when Dunlap overdosed.

She also said she gave Dunlap Narcan in an attempt to save her life, but the dose was unsuccessful, and Shaun Long, who O’Day said gave Dunlap the drugs, allegedly refused to call 9-1-1. O’Day then helped Long dump Dunlap’s body in Butler County near a body of water.

  1. another POS. one of the others involved just got sentenced to 25 years and was found dead his first week in prison. kayla’s father is a known dealer and in prison. seems like karma is going to get the ones that were involved. and when they finally catch all involved a certain VFD member in parker (coke head eddie) will be out of business
