Pennsylvania State Police Graduates 21 Citizen Academy Members

Twenty-one people graduated from the Citizen’s Police Academy held in Carlisle, Cumberland County. Throughout the eight-week course, participants learned about the roles and responsibilities of law enforcement. Some of the topics covered throughout the course were animal cruelty investigations, the functions and duties of the patrol unit, criminal investigations, as well as many others. The participants also took part in mock traffic stop scenarios and toured the Cumberland County forensics laboratory.

Also present for graduation were Lieutenant Linette Quinn, Lieutenant Gary Carter, Trooper Angel Garcia, Trooper Brent Miller and State Senator Mike Regan, the graduation guest speaker.
