Scott Bolte, 46, pleaded guilty to an amended felony count of aggravated assault Tuesday to stabbing another person five times during a fight in September.
He was initially charged with one felony count of aggravated assault after an incident Sept. 11 in the 200 block of West Diamond Street.
The plea agreement calls for a sentence of 9 to 18 months in Butler County Prison, with parole at sentencing on time served, followed by probation. Bolte will also be ordered to pay any restitution and fines. He is scheduled for sentencing May 24.
Butler police said Bolte injured Alexander Shelatree, 25, by stabbing him five times with a knife.
