New bill focuses on Postpartum Depression

Mothers at risk for depression after they give birth would benefit from legislation introduced in both the state House and Senate.

The bills would add postpartum depression as an at-risk category under an existing state law benefitting infants and children.

State Senator Camera Bartolotta, who represents residents of Beaver, Washington and Greene counties, says postpartum depression goes beyond the so-called “baby blues” that many mothers experience.

  1. Another BIG Pharma to the Rescue story…. The Answer, yet again, comes in the form of Pills ..
    Anti-Depressants.. Serotonin Re-uptake Inhibitors…. Changes the Brain’s chemistry permanently…
Then folks start getting Anxiety attacks; that’s when they’ll up your dose… When you start considering suicide, don’t worry, … There’s a pill for that …When you start hearing voices, and seeing things that aren’t really there then you graduate to Anti-Psychotics..

but.. What do i know, i’m not a Rocket appliance specialist… I’m no Doctor either..

if i was a Doctor, i’d be getting kick-backs from BIG PHARMA.. and FREE Vacations to Exotic Countries; where the massages come with happy endings… at least that’s what the Voices tell me… Fuh Getta Bout it !!
