In regards to Sheriff Slupe’s decision to prohibit his office from doing business with companies that no longer give special rates to members of the NRA.

Are the cost of these services being provided from his own personal account or from the county funds (thus monies from taxpayers)?

Shouldn’t these services be provided by companies quoting the lowest cost for a comparable service?

Sheriff Slupe is welcome to spend his money wherever he pleases, but as a taxpayer I would appreciate my money being spent more wisely.
